In 2002 we put a £1m expansion plan into action. The plan included expanding our facilities and making major investments in our software. This expansion included the purchase of a CNC 3D tube bending plant introduced to revolutionise the fabrication of the curved stainless steel tubes. The new machinery, specially imported from Japan, is the first of its type in the United Kingdom and the largest in Europe. Following the sucess of the first machine we now have two of these machines!
The CNC machinery has meant tolerances have been improved and tight radii in 3 dimensions that have not been possible before are now being produced. This enables designers to incorporate curved stainless steel shapes, which have previously not been viable, into their designs.
